Micah Man is 6 months old! He officially has two teeth and can sit all by himself. He occasionally falls backward, but can usually be left to play without support.
He has moved out of his infant car seat and is wearing size 9-12 month clothes and size 3 diapers.
He has started solid food. So far, we are moving very slowly as he is not at all interested, but I can manage to get a tablespoon of rice cereal in him each day. He has also tried peas, but that too is a real struggle.
I think he has the longest tongue I have ever seen on a baby. :) AND, the most beautiful green eyes.
We decided to get an exersaucer afterall. He enjoys about 10 minutes at a time, where he plays and bounces.
Micah has had a cold for the past 2 weeks (hence the red, crusty nose). He has finally stopped coughing and sneezing, but continues to wake up every 2-3 hours at night. He is getting into a better nap routine though and will sleep for 1.5-2 hours in the afternoon. He is still sleeping in the basinette in our room, but he is almost too long for it (plus he will soon start moving too much!). I was hoping to get him into a better sleep pattern before putting him in Shaylah's room, but it does not look like it is going to happen. Poor Shaylah is just going to have to wake up each time the baby cries!
He is such a joy and I get comments all the time about how happy and engaging he is. We all love this baby boy.
